Hardware, carriers, time zone and session mode
The only Illinois hardware we run is in the Chicago metro. Where is the hardware for Illinois lines?
In the Chicago metro, in our own rack, with one carrier SIM per modem and one customer per modem. It is the only Illinois location TigerProxies operates. Every address the line receives comes from a carrier gateway serving northern Illinois, and we do not claim modems in any other Illinois city.
Will retailers see me as an Illinois shopper?
Yes, wherever they decide by address. The line geolocates to Chicago or Illinois, so regional pricing, delivery estimates and store defaults are the Illinois versions. Where a retailer asks for a ZIP or store selection, set it as a shopper would; the proxy supplies the network signal, not those inputs.
Can I monitor prices from a specific Illinois city?
Not by address. Chicago is our only metro and carrier geolocation stops at the metro or state, so there is no downstate address to choose. For store-level prices in Peoria or Springfield, set the store or ZIP in the retailer's own selector and run the request through the Chicago line.
